MANILA, Philippines —Scattered rains and thunderstorms would prevail over Visayas and Luzon, including Metro Manila due to the combined effects of a low pressure area (LPA) and the southwest monsoon, locally known as ‘habagat,’ the state weather bureau said before dawn Monday., This news data comes from:http://gyglfs.com
However, the LPA, estimated some 570 kilometers (kms) east-northeast of Virac, Catanduanes or 695 kms east of Daet, Camarines Norte, has a slim chance to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, weather specialist Robert Badrina said.
